French theatre director and artist who works with both dramatic plays and opera. In 1980, he became the founder and one of the main directors of the Pelican Theatre Company. In 1994, he was invited as a director to the Alpine Dramatic Centre in Grenoble, serving as its director from 1997 to 2007. From 2008 to 2018, he directed the National Theatre of Toulouse.
